What insignias for PvE ele?
I am a fire nuker, who mainly does general PvE and some treasure hunting.
I do Pvp a little.
I currently use survivor insignias on everything - however, this only adds 40 health and I am not so sure that i need it. Without survivor insignias, i would have 535 health.
I wear 1k armor.
Would +armor insignias be better? Im not sure of the damage reduction from +X amount of armor vs the added health of survivor insignias.
So should i get armor insignias? And if so, which ones? vs elemental damage? Physical? All?
Thanks for the help.

First, you probably want a little more health than 575 for PvP - make sure you've got a sword and shield set on switch to push HP past 600 when needed.
And I'd stick with survivor - PvE isn't hard enough to matter what insignia you have, and in PvP survivor = win.
Though if you get another set of armour, Blessed is a strong choice for PvE - 10 armour will reduce incoming damage enough to be more valuable than 40 health in most PvE situations - and you're always enchanted to get the bonus.

All my character's main armour set is typically outfitted with Survivor, the only ones that aren't are for farming or gimmick builds.

Survivor for general purpose. Prismatic if you spec 2 elements and fight a lot of things where armor saves you, or if you're ursan.

/agree with this post
prismatic is nice if you dual spec but really, getting another armor set just for that isn't that important.

As a PvE ele, you're almost certain to have an attunement up 24/7. That makes Blessed insignias positively golden.
Survivor tends to be a better choice for PvP, though I think if you're doing low-end PvP (RA, TA, AB, ...) you can probably get away with the Blessed.

Does that make me bad if I run with 545 health or something in PvP?

I've done all my HM missions/vanquishing with 520 health and (limited) PvP with 595. Basically I swap my headpiece from a sup to a minor.

Didn't you hear? A monk must have at least 600hp!

I find blessed insignias are the best ones for PvE, always running an enchantment of some sort so always got 70 armor.

Blessed for the chest, attunement for the rest. That's what I run anyway.
I tend to avoid getting hit as much as possible so the extra HP is only a nicety. The extra energy helps out with Mind Blast though.
-EDIT-
As the OP suggested, this is my PvE toon only.

In PvE, armor is always greater than health. 90% of the damage you'll be taking will be armor respecting, so reducing it is key. I'd go with the +armor while enchanted, since most PvE eles are almost always enchanted

I use Survivor both for PvE and PvP... because more hp = better
About your element rune, I run minor most of the time bringing my hp to 610, but superior is very viable in PvE.
I have to admit that blessed is very useful for an elementalist due to the fact that they almost always are attuned. So, I guess both are good for PvE, but I still recommend survivor for PvP.

Hard Mode can see some pretty nasty spikes for squishies. You do have monk prots and minions etc. that negate most of it, but occasionally something gets through, and then you want HP just to survive the one stray blow before Prot Spirit goes on you.
Not as needed if you have say an Imbagon in tow, but then your armor rating doesn't matter anyway.
